NO DIAGNOSIS NECESSARY AS WE TREAT THE CHILD, NOT THE LABEL
NPT respects each family's and provider's individual needs. By going into the child's world we discover what motivates them to want to learn and connect. Our number one priority is building a relationship based on trust, acceptance, and inspiration. We help parents and professionals get back in touch with their inner guidance, gut feelings, intuition, or any other name you have for discovering what feels good to you.
Once the relationship is built, teaching becomes much easier and more natural. We've learned that it's not necessarily the therapy program that works for a child as much as it is the person in which they connect with. NPT helps teachers, parents, siblings, families, therapists, aids, respite workers, and anyone who is touched by autism let go of judgments and limitations, enabling them to connect at deeper levels.
We are open to all techniques from any modality as long as respect and belief in the child's ability is present.
